From a promontory, you will view (from a distance) the ancient Acropolis of Lindos. According to Homer in The Iliad, the acropolis was built by the Dorians, along with the cities of Kamiros and Ialyssos. The village of Lindos, with its thousand inhabitants, lies beneath the Acropolis.
Stop at the traditional fishing settlement of Faliraki Beach (Kastri) - a quaint village by the sea to do as the Greeks do and drink coffee at a waterfront café.
Afterwards, return to Rhodes Town and the pier.
