From antiquity to today, the land below the mountains of Falakro, Meniko and Pangeon have been utilized for wine making and thus have become one of the most important centers of Dionysian worship. In the past two decades, the wine appellation of Drama Protected Geographical Origin (PGI) is one of the hot beds of vinicultural innovation in Greece. It has been celebrated since antiquity for its exquisite wines; Drama was one of the most important centers of Dionysian worship in Ancient Greece.
Indulge yourself in this vinicultural experience as you visit two of the most renowned wineries in all of Greece. Wine tasting is without a doubt an enchanting process during which sight, smell and taste have a dominant role.
You will visit Domaine Costa Lazaridi and Chateau Niko Lazaridi during your visit. You will tour the facilities of the winery and the distillery, where you will learn about the vinification process and taste the wines.
