As you explore Olympia today, capturing the magical setting with your camera, you can almost hear the roar of the spectators, cheering on the athletes as they took their marks on the marble starting blocks. Photograph the ruins of temples, treasuries, porticoes and statues, and the Temple of Zeus with its now-lost forty-foot-tall statue of the god. All of these structures were an integral part of the city's glorious heyday.
