From the outside, admire the beautiful architecture of the Alcazaba Palace -- a historic castle built in the 11th century as a residence for the Arabian caliphs, or kings. It is connected to Gibralfaro Castle. This ancient Moorish fortress, which offers breathtaking views of the city and the bay. Leave the castle for a walking tour of the city, guaranteed to stimulate your senses and your appetite.
From the coach, admire the ruins of the façade of the Bullring (one of the busiest in Spain), and some interesting and beautiful 19th-century buildings -- City Hall, the Justice Courts, and the Central Post Office. You'll also stop briefly in Plaza de la Merced to snap photos of Picasso's birthplace.
