Upon disembarking the ship, collect your luggage and pass through customs. Hand your bags to your tour driver, who will stow and lock them in the luggage hold of the motorcoach.
Sit back and relax as you embark on a panoramic drive, passing through the heart of downtown Miami and the Financial District. Along the way you’ll pass Brickell Avenue, with its towering skyscrapers alongside magnificent old bayside mansions.
Continue on to explore Miami's Cuban heritage as you travel Calle Ocho to the area affectionately known as Little Havana. Have your camera ready as you take in the glitz and glamour of South Beach and its unique Art Deco District.
Upon arrival at Bayside Market Place, your mode of transport changes, as you step aboard the Island Queen for a 1½-hour leisurely cruise on the city's waterways. Here you’ll view the Port of Miami – the Cruise Capital of the World. Then, cruise to Fisher Island for a closer look at the multimillion-dollar homes owned by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Boris Becker and Paul Newman. As you pass Star Island, you’ll see the gardens of Rosie O'Donnell's and Gloria Estefan's estates. Another popular property to watch for is the honeymoon cottage once occupied by Elizabeth Taylor and Eddie Fisher.
As you make your way back to Bayside, savor the spectacular famous Miami skyline.
Your tour ends with a transfer to Miami Airport or a return to the ship.
Please note: There are a few steps to board the Island Queen. This tour is available to guests returning to the ship and to guests whose cruise ends in Miami, with flights from Miami Airport after 4 p.m. for domestic flights and 5 p.m. for international flights. If you have already purchased an airport transfer with your cruise booking, it will be refunded on board the ship, as this excursion automatically includes a transfer.
