Experience Hobart from a completely different perspective on this guided sea-kayaking adventure in the vibrant waterfront precinct. No experience is necessary and all equipment and basic kayaking tuition is included – so even if you're a complete beginner, you'll look and feel as if you know what you're doing in a matter of minutes.
Paddle your kayak in a small group along the shore of Hobart, past historic Battery Point, Salamanca, to "the Docks." In this colorful neighborhood, you will enjoy a snack of hot fish and chips without even having to get out of your kayak – this is Australian efficiency and prioritizing at its finest.
Next, paddle past tall ships in your double sea kayak and watch for working fishing boats and luxury cruisers as you return to the base.
Please note:
Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Dress in layers as it can be a little cooler on the water initially, but you will get warm kayaking. You may wish to wear a waterproof jacket in case of the odd splash from your traveling companion's paddle (accidental, of course). Minimum age is 7 years. Tour does not operate on holidays.
