Enjoy this half day tour that will explore the surrounding areas of Bateman's Bay. You will begin with a visit to the beautiful Wimbie Beach where you will meet with local guides for a 'Welcome to Country' which includes an indigenous welcome and food tasting experience. Join the traditional Smoking Ceremony & Bush Walk with story telling and heritage lessons about the surrounding area as you go on to identify local edible land and sea species and learn about their traditional uses.
A short distance away lies Mogo Zoo. This private zoo is small but plays a big role in world conservation. The focus of the zoo is to work with global breeding and conservation programs in conjunction with other zoos around the world. During your visit today, you will be given an exclusive opportunity to talk with one of the rangers and learn first hand about the zoos current projects.
Your last stop of the day will be in the small heritage town of Mogo where you will have a short amount of free time to wander through the shops and pick up some souvenirs.
