This thrill-ride takes you offshore into ocean waters to explore the volcanic coastline of Kruzof Island. This area makes for excellent photo opportunities and is home to a variety of wildlife. You will get close to the towering cliffs of St Lazaria Island – a National Wildlife Refuge –
where sea birds nest.
In a volcanic sea cave (weather permitting), the captain will stop the boat and shut down the engine so you can listen to the surf crashing on the volcanic cliffs. You may be lucky enough to hear the song of nesting seabirds or whales breathing.
