The Nakdong Estuary Eco-Center, established to preserve the Nakdong Estuary, features displays and exhibits providing visitors an excellent opportunity to learn about the migratory birds that visit Korea each year. To get a better view of this beautiful sanctuary, head to the Amisan Observatory. Overlooking the Nakdong Estuary, it is the best place to view the stunning landscape of sand bar islands and flocks of migratory birds taking to the air. The observatory's interpretive panels illustrate the topography and geological features of the Nakdong Estuary for a better understanding of what makes this area so special.
Your day concludes with a walk on the Songdo Skywalk – One of the longest skywalk in South Korea. This bridge spans about .25 miles and perches on the cliffside 20 feet above the sea. It offers magnificent views of the city and surrounding landscape, including a lighthouse and a small rock outcropping called Turtle Island.
With a newfound appreciation for the ecology of this wonderful region, return invigorated to the pier.
