Here's a fun and informative guided tour of the Baja California peninsula, where desert terrain collides beautifully with the rugged coastline, and unusual rock formations fire the imagination.
Visit a local glassblowing factory, where skilled artisans transform molten glass into intricate works of art. This is a magical experience with a chance to purchase a handcrafted treasure as an upscale souvenir.
Sunset Monalia restaurant offers an idyllic spot to sip a beverage and savor the sweeping panoramic view of the coastline and picturesque Cabo San Lucas.
Next, set a course for San Jose del Cabo -- the smaller of the Baja's twin cities. A guided tour showcases the town's commons and the zocalo (main square). Your guide will engage you in an enlightening chat about the original settlement here and the region's indigenous flora. Step inside the Jesuit mission church and take advantage of some free time to wander among cobblestone streets and admire the colonial architecture.
Return to Cabo for an easy ten-minute walk back to the tender pier. Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tour sequence may vary. Venues are subject to change.
