As you journey along the northern coastline of Prince Edward Island, most famous for its landscape of red cliffs and sandy dunes, you'll get a real sense for what makes it such a popular vacation destination.
First, stop at the Green Gables Heritage Place and walk in the footsteps of one of Canada's most celebrated authors -- Lucy Maud Montgomery.
Then, you'll participate in a true Island tradition -- a lobster ceilidh (pronounced kaylee) at the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company in New Glasgow. It combines a magnificent view of the River Clyde and the impressive surrounding gardens with a traditional lobster bake -- a genuine, down-home, Downeast treat that is not fancy, but is a lovely, casual, picnic-style meal with fellow guests. Enjoy some foot-stomping musical entertainment before heading back to the ship.
Please note: Timing may be adjusted where necessary due to traffic delays, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
