The Lovyshkis comprise a group of small, rocky islets scattered around the center of the Kuril archipelago in Far East Russia. Often shrouded in fog, the rocks are a magnet for Steller sea lions and northern fur seals, with tens of thousands of pinnipeds lounging atop. During the height of the breeding seasion, they also boast large populations of seabirds, including crested auklets and pigeon guillemots.
Seabourn guests enjoy an expedition day here that, while remaining fluid, likely features Zodiac cruises around the rocky outcrops for fabulous photo opportunities. Conditions permitting, you might join an optional paddle with the Kayak Team.
