This tour introduces you to Ishigaki Island.
The Tamatorizaki Observatory is located on the Hirakubo Peninsula and is famous for its picturesque scenery. The color of the sea differs depending on distance and time of day, and the unique natural gradation of color seldom disappoints those who visit.
Lunch will feature famous Ishigaki beef -- it's a traditional Japanese-style meal where the raw meat is provided, and you cook it yourself to your liking.
In the amazing Ishigaki Limestone Cave, spacious caverns formed over more than 200,000 years create a vast network of tunnels and chambers with fascinating geological formations. A well-maintained path meanders through about 2,100 feet of the cave's total length of 10,500 feet. Spellbound visitors marvel at the cavern's walls and ceilings, dripping with formations and illuminated by well-placed lights.
Return to the pier a little better acquainted with Ishigaki.
