You're headed to the Temple of Uluwatu, which stands high atop a cliff overlooking the ocean. This temple is among the six most important temples in Bali and is held quite sacred by the Balinese people. Keep a sharp eye out for the very uninhibited "locals" -- macaque monkeys whose ridiculous antics will keep you enthralled and on your toes.
You've worked up an appetite; now head to Jimbaran Bay, where hundreds of fishing boats take to the water every evening. The views of this bay are simply stunning, matched only by the delicious and colorful seafood dishes served here. The evening atmosphere, when the sun is setting, is very romantic indeed.
