Namibia boast the world's oldest desert which has been in existence for over 43 million years, remaining unchanged in its present form for the last 2 million years. The Namib Desert is an immense expanse of relentlessly moving gravel plains & dunes of all shapes and sizes that stretch along the entire coastline.
Departing from the pier by 4x4 vehicle and coaches, you will make your way to the outskirts of Walvis Bay, passing by the famous Dune 7 one of the highest dunes in Namibia, at over 1,250 feet tall.
After approximately 45 minutes of travelling you reach your dinner location nestled in a secluded area among the dunes and stars of the Namib. Tables draped in linen, subtle lighting, a myriad of candles reflecting in and off the canyon walls create an unforgettable atmosphere for your African desert dinner.
After dinner the tranquil atmosphere will be further enhanced by relaxing around a crackling fire before returning to the pier.
Please note:
Dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes. Ride may be bumpy.
