Explore the island of Tongatapu as you board an island-style bus and travel to the west coast. You will pass the Royal Palace and the Central Business District of the capital city of Nuku'alofa.
You will first stop in Likualofa, which is nestled against the stunning Fanga'uta Lagoon, to listen to the story of Tonga and its culture while witnessing cultural entertainment and enjoying seasonal tropical fruits.
Visit the Flying Fox in Tofoa village and the Liahona Coconut Plantation, which is home to an unusual three-headed coconut tree.
To complete your Scenic Island drive, proceed to the tour's highlights, where you can view the blowholes on Tonga's western coast known as the Chief's Whistles, which are typically considered as the most spectacular blowholes in the entire South Pacific.
Please Note:
Transportation is by basic island bus with no air-conditioning or PA system. Restroom facilities are limited and very basic. Bring a hat, sunglasses, insect repellant and bottled water; wear biodegradable sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes. Please note this is not a swimming tour. Blowholes are affected by sea and weather conditions; blowhole activity is not guaranteed. Tour does not operate on Sundays.
