Explore the Big Island's Kona Coast on a 16-passenger, 24-foot Navy SEAL Zodiac Hurricane boat for the experience of a lifetime. Captain Zodiac has been providing guests with a spectacular snorkel trip for 49 years.
You'll be introduced to an array of nature's secret wonders that can only be experienced from the raft. Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve, site of the Captain Cook monument. Kealakekua Bay is one of Hawaii's calmest, most protected snorkel spots with a huge variety of marine life, including corals and tropical fish.
All snorkel gear, flotation devices and professional supervision are provided.
On the return from Kealakekua Bay, a fast and fun Zodiac ride will get you up close to explore the rugged Kona coastline. You will see exposed giant lava tubes, sea caves, and natural blowholes. Keep a sharp eye out for pods of Hawaiian spinner dolphins, whales and other marine life.
Your captains or naturalist guide will share the story of Captain James Cook, Hawaiian history, island geology and facts about the many marine species you will encounter.
A delicious tropical snack of fresh pineapple and fruit, chips, cookies and soft drinks are included.
