Visit Australia Zoo, a 70-acre animal conservation area founded by Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin.
Australia Zoo is home to some of the world's most exotic wildlife. See fresh and saltwater crocodiles, feed kangaroos, watch a huge crocodile spring from the waters edge or have your photo taken with a giant python. There are 14 free wildlife shows daily and four shopping outlets. Spend approximately two hours exploring the park at your own pace.
Next, ascend a winding road to the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Settled in the 1880's, it is the towns are often described as the ‘Creative Heart of the Sunshine Coast’ and home to art galleries, artist studios, crafters workshops and restored Victorian cottages. Take a stroll through the tranquil village and browse for artwork, gifts, jewellery and more.
Afterwards re-join your coach for a relaxed transfer back to the ship, ready to take you on your next adventure.
