This slow-paced stroll with the Expeditions Team and a local guide is designed to allow you time to experience and enjoy the Botanical Gardens of Rio de Janeiro. Founded in 1808, the gardens were intended for acclimating exotic species of commercial value to the Brazilian tropics. With a collection of more than six thousand species from all over the world, as well as abundant birdlife, this is the ideal place to learn about local flora and fauna and the history of the gardens.
You'll also stop at a souvenir shop before you head back to the ship.
