You will travel approximately 85 minutes through Oaxaca's beautiful landscapes toan indigenous community of Zapotec origin that is home to the Ventanilla Lagoon and crocodile sanctuary.
Take a boat ride through the mangrove lagoon, where you'll be able to easily observe several animal species in their natural habitat.
Back on land, set off on an approximately one-hour walk while your guide points out the wildlife and vegetation that populate the island and offers an explanation of the natural world around you.
Enjoy a light lunch of fresh quesadillas made in an open-air oven.
Walk approximately 30 minutes back to the boat to travel back to the mainland, returning to Huatulco and the pier.
