A guided walking tour leads you through paved streets of UNESCO World Heritage site Pompeii rutted by chariot tracks and along wide sidewalks past a stadium, theaters, and temples. See the Forum, the baths, the patrician villas and shops of the common man. Also on display are body casts of the victims, caught in their moment of death. Following your visit, return to Sorrento where you can explore on your own or return to the pier.
Please note: Tour requires two hours of walking. Terrain includes cobblestones, steep inclines and uneven surfaces. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
