Your destination is Klios Honey Tasting Experience on a local farm. Learn about the cultural significance of honey in Greek traditions and discover the various culinary uses of this liquid gold. The experience culminates in a delightful feast featuring local delicacies drizzled with the finest honey, offering a symphony of flavors that showcase the versatility of this natural sweetener.
Stepping off the transportation, enjoy a welcome cup of coffee or a glass of juice. Take a seat in the shade of the large trees and listen to Klio as she explains how her grandparents made their living from this farm. This intergenerational landscape is now her home and provides her with a living as a professional beekeeper. With 25 years of experience, Klio is both knowledgeable and relatable. Bring your questions -- she has answers.
Klio will show you the equipment she uses and will introduce you to the life of bees. Marvel at the harmonious coexistence of nature, people, and bee colonies, gaining a deeper understanding of the delicate balance that yields this incredible honey.
