Take part in a transformative experience when you go on this hiking adventure, where winding trails lead to lush vegetation and panoramic views of the surrounding islands and the sparkling Caribbean Sea.
Start the day with an invigorating journey – a hike to Mount Morel. The rugged trails are surrounded by greenery and as you ascend to the summit the beauty of the archipelago will be revealed. At the top you’ll see the ruins of Fort Caroline. Bask in the natural beauty, surrounded by cacti and frangipani trees, and the views over Les Saintes Bay.
The first European inhabitants of the island arrived from Brittany and Normandy, beginning a long tradition of fishing. On the way back to Terre-de-Haut you will see hints of this heritage – the dinghies known as saintoises, which are still in use to this day. Discover the charming village with its colorful Creole houses and small fishing port.
Feel free to find a bakery and try some local specialties (at your own expense) – such as the delicate le tourment d'amour, which is a tart with a coconut filling – to end your day.
Please note: Tour operates weather permitting. Minimum age is 18 years.
