Sea Trek helmet diving is a truly unusual activity and super-fun to try. You'll find yourself walking along the sea floor with a helmet that is attached to an air supply at the surface. The helmet weighs you down so you can walk and breathe with ease. It fits comfortably on your shoulders; your face and hair remain dry, and you can wear your glasses or contact lenses. A guide, a safety diver, and a surface attendant accompany you.
After a safety briefing, you'll walk into the water from the beach and stroll among beautiful coral banks and reef fish to a depth of about 21 feet. Feed the fish and enjoy living coral -- there's an underwater pathway between the coral banks, so you can walk without fear of damaging the coral or the marine life.
Please note: Photos and video footage are available for purchase (at your own expense). Minimum age is 8 years. Changing rooms are available. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind is allowed), light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Guests who are more than three months pregnant or have an ear, bronchial or sinus condition, a history of high blood pressure/blood disorders, a history of diabetes, are under the influence of alcohol/drugs, have a head or chest cold, asthma/wheezing or lung disease, difficulty equalizing ear pressure, epilepsy, blackouts, or fainting are not allowed to participate. Guests cleared by their physician, with appropriate documentation, can participate. Participants must be able to walk underwater, breathe normally with the apparatus and clear/pop their ears underwater. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed.
