Embarking on this exclusive maritime escape will prove to be an experience beyond your wildest dreams.
To start the day, an experienced and friendly guide will meet you at the pier and escort you to the boat, where you’ll meet your captain. S(he) is knowledgeable and eager to cater to your desires on the water. After you’re comfortably seated, you’ll head out on a private charter of Antigua’s beautiful coastline.
You will make your way through the Caribbean’s finest turquoise waters while caressing the coastline, taking in the picturesque and lush rolling hills, hidden coves, and secluded bays. Along the way you’ll see the famous Hawksbill Rock as you approach Deep Bay.
Once at anchor, you’ll see a wreck that lies in the middle of the bay: the Andes, a Barque from Trinidad that sank nearly 100 years ago when its cargo of pitch caught fire. Its mast sometimes protrudes out of the water at times, creating an eerie and beautiful spectacle. Here you’re invited to snorkel the wreck and catch sight of the spectacular underwater world. If visibility isn’t good, an alternative snorkel site will be visited.
Continue along to a white sand beach where you can take a refreshing swim or beachcomb. Then simply relax with a refreshing drink and your captain will cut one of our very own Antigua Black pineapples for you to sample along with local plantain chips and finger sandwiches.
Please note: Private boats are sold based on up to 6 guests. Only 1 guest needs to reserve the excursion for the party of up to 6 people. Guests should bring sunglasses, sun cream, a towel and wear swim wear. Swim at your own risk.
