Take in Halifax's iconic tastes and views at the best time of day -- sunset.
Depart the pier for a scenic ride through Halifax and travel to the idyllic fishing community of Peggy's Cove (1811) with its incredibly picturesque scenery.
Take in the magnificent sight of the Peggy's Cove lighthouse at sunset, shopping, or exploring the village. The lonely lighthouse stands atop a granite outcropping lashed by the sea -- a scene that has inspired artists and photographers for decades.
At the Sou'Wester, watch a lobster cracking demonstration and enjoy a traditional (casual) East Coast lobster dinner.
Return to Halifax for a panoramic drive around the Halifax Citadel to view a few notable illuminated sites before returning to your ship.
Please note: Visitors are asked to stay off the rocks and away from the shoreline at Peggy's Cove.Terrain includes gravel pathways, paved areas, wooden decking, cement sidewalks, inclines, steps and rocky areas. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes.
