Travel west by motorcoach to the Blue Mountains -- a UNESCO World Heritage Site area of breathtaking views, cascading waterfalls, rugged tablelands, sheer cliffs and deep, inaccessible valleys covering more than 2½ million acres.
En route to the Blue Mountains, you'll visit Featherdale Wildlife Park. This amazing park contains a variety of Australian wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, reptiles, Tasmanian devils, wombats and various species of Australian birds. Get up close to the friendly kangaroos and a see Australia's iconic, cuddly koalas.
Driving over the imposing Blue Mountains and enjoy the splendid panoramic views of the Jamison Valley, Mount Solitary and the Ruined Castle.
Don't miss terrific views of the Three Sisters -- a famous rock formation. Like the rest of the Blue Mountains, the Sisters are made of porous sandstone formed by erosion over time from wind, rain and rivers. The cliffs surrounding the Jamison Valley are all being slowly broken up, and eventually, as nature dictates, they will be completely eroded away.
Ride the Scenic Cableway -- Australia's steepest aerial cable car, crossing high above the Jamison Valley. Enjoy the views of ancient ravines and dazzling waterfalls from 886 feet above the valley floor.
Within the Blue Mountains area, enjoy lunch at The Lookout, before returning to the airport.
