Board your motorcoach and explore eastern Miyako Island. Begin with a photo stop at beautiful Higashi Henna Cape, designated as a National Historic Site, Scenic and Natural Monument. It is one of the most breathtaking spots in all of Okinawa. Take in the picture-perfect vistas and lilies that bloom in the early spring.
Then ride on a semi-submersible vessel, the Sea-Sky Hakuai, to observe the underwater world of the island, where the seawater is extremely clear. Enjoy the natural beauty and bounty of the island.
Continue along to Maehama Beach. Stretching out for 4½ miles, this is one of the Japan's favorite beaches, and the contrast of the white sand and the emerald-green water is truly beautiful.
Conclude with a stop at the Miyakojima City Traditional Crafts Center, where you will learn about traditional high-quality hemp cloth called Miyakojima jofu.
Transfer back to the ship after your tour.
