Discover the secrets of Niyodo Blue sake (rice wine) production at a local brewery. Sake is made using soft water from the Niyodo River, which originates from the Shikoku Mountains and flows into the Pacific Ocean. The Niyodo is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and is acknowledged as Japan's last pristine river. This pure water plays a significant role in the sake-making process.
In the serene Nakatsu Gorge, step off the coach for a walk along a picturesque promenade. As you navigate the many steps along the way, revel in the fresh air, the breathtaking scenery, and the clear, pretty streams.
Savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the pier.
