As you leave the pier, a panoramic drive takes you past colonial-style buildings in the city center and follows a country road into the heart of rural Da Nang.
Visit the Tra Que Vegetable Village, bordered by the De Vong River and Tra Que Lagoon. Learn about the cultivation, care and harvest of the many vegetables and herbs grown here.
Stroll through history in Old Town Hoi An. It is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a traditional Southeast Asian trading port. Hear more about its origins as you explore the charming streets on foot with your knowledgeable guide. Watch the skyline for a kaleidoscope of architecture from Japan, India, China and Portugal, whose merchants all once inhabited this village.
The Hoi An Museum displays objects from trade times, when the world was welcomed to Hoi An and prosperity was the name of the game.
Step inside the Phuc Kien Temple, built in honor of Thien Hau -- goddess of the sea. Nearby is a covered Japanese bridge and you'll see one of the ancient houses of Hoi An before returning to the pier.
