Monado is located in the Bay of Monado and is surrounded by a mountainous area. A traditional war dance of the Minahasa region welcomes you as you board your coach.
You'll drive into the heart of Chinatown to visit the Ban Hin Kiong Temple -- one of the oldest Chinese temples built during the Qing Dynasty. This red temple is elegant and attractive and is covered with ornaments on every side.
Head toward the central city and Catholic Church Karombasan, located in Manado, North Sulawesi, is known for its distinctive architecture and rich history. The church offers a peaceful atmosphere and a welcoming community, making it an ideal place for worship and reflection. In addition to serving the Catholic congregation, it actively engages in various social and cultural activities, fostering strong connections among community members

Tour requires approximately one hour of walking. Terrain includes mainly paved paths and gravel. The drive to Monado is approximately 1.5 hours each way. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Modest attire is required for visiting religious sites; knees, shoulders and midriffs must be covered; shorts and capri-length pants are not allowed.
