Visit Pagoda Ekayana, located in Tomohon, is a beautiful Buddhist temple known for its striking architecture and serene surroundings. Surrounded by lush greenery, the pagoda features elegant tiered roofs and intricate carvings that reflect traditional Indonesian design. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while learning about the local culture and the significance of this spiritual site
Tomohon is an important town in North Sulawesi and was a part of the Minahesa Regency. It lies between two volcanoes -- Mount Mahawu and Mount Lokon. Visit the traditional local market to find an abundance of colorful flowers, fruits, vegetables and spices.
Rich geothermal activity of fumaroles, sulfur steam, and hot mud takes place at Lake Linow, which is surrounded by beautiful scenery. The lake is fed by a steaming volcanic spring and is famed for its color, which changes from deep blue to turquoise, green and even yellow. During your visit, refreshments of coffee, tea and a local snack are served at the café adjacent to the lake.
At Woloan village, the clever inhabitants make knock-down houses that can be transported and reassembled anywhere in the world. The houses are made from local hardwood, and traditional methods are used that allow them to be easily disassembled and moved.
Sit down to an Indonesian buffet lunch at a local resort before you return to the ship.
